Breaking down and analyzing Dave Rapoza

Today I wanted to take this piece by dave rapoza and try to breakdown the form of the face to understand how to draw the face better using the Ethan Becker method. If you havent heard of the Ethan Becker method than you can check out the following video by Studio Delaron that breaks down how to analyze artists work and incorporate what they do into your work.

The process is to basically break down a piece into its converging lines with a trace over and then go back and replicate the breakdown (not the reference) adjusting and taking notes of what you get wrong along the way and then rinse repeat. Here you can see the breakdown I did for this piece. With 4 iterations, each time correcting mistakes I made on the last one.
